Concert in US?
Is there by any chance going to be a Vocaloid concert coming to the US? But with the original Japanese songs, not some crappy English dub?

No. English dubbed Vocaloids are coming in the future, not the original Japanese ones.
I swear if Miku's voice is squeaky, and terrible, I'll lose my interest in the concerts.

Just because something isn't what you're used to doesn't mean you have to lose interest in the thing you originally liked.
Screw the English stuff and just stick to Japanese then. :/

I for one will not be attending those concerts. Not because it's English...but because it most likely won't have the emotional -well they don't have emotions anyway, but you get it- feel the Japanese ones have.

True, but you can never hate what you never tried, right?

Exactly. I'm not a big fan, but I guess I'll try at least one out.Kone98IF wrote:True, but you can never hate what you never tried, right?

I think the only one that's staying the same is Luka...because she already has an English voicebank. They're changing the rest though, from what I hear.

Well, Miku had a concert in LA a few weeks ago, and they kept the Japanese voices. Pretty sweet that America has finally realized just how profitable they are.

They might've always known about them, but haven't really seen how big of a thing Vocaloid actually is. But as much profit whoever can gain from it, unless the general public aside from the fans like it, they'll only be pooling around the same amount each concert, and that's only IF they end up doing more concerts.

Re: Concert in US?
But do you know just how MANY Vocaloid fans are there in America?! Most of the Japanese-oriented videos you see on Youtube are filled with comments in English, even if some are from like...the UK or whatever. It'd be a huge success and if the "general public" likes it, the popularity here will grow even more. I think the concert here could be a huge step in marketing, and we'd get much more Vocaloid stuff than we do now.Nagisa wrote:They might've always known about them, but haven't really seen how big of a thing Vocaloid actually is.
