I release my Pokemon, Squirtle, from it's ball, and I command it to use Tail Whip and then Tackle to determine my opponent's pattern. I then command it to come back and wait until my opponent makes her move.

Okay, I felt I shouldn't leave this battle hanging, so...

I send out Charmander immediately, telling him to dodge both attacks before looking at the list of moves he has. "Okay..." I utter, clenching my fist in nervousness. "Charmander! Use Scratch!" My Charmander obeys and run toward your Squirtle, ready to strike.
